Post a picture Walmart clearance stuff is the best source for nice cheap clothes, it puts modern thrift store pricing to shame. go back there >>12829778
you can thank social media for inspiring everyone to become a #vintage#reseller

local thrifts have been getting away with charging consignment store prices

I miss going to thrift stores in the mid 90s and early 2000s when they were a mess you had dig through. A Salvation Army store by me was always dimly lit with a mild smell of piss/oldness but going there was always an adventure since video games were often $0.50 each and consoles were $3-$5 and included any cords you could untangle from the box and always a game plugged in and included. There were also nice tools and other knick-knacks to be found if you were agile enough to climb over piles of furniture to reach the shelves in the back. It was a different time that I'll miss.

thrifting was good until like 2015, there was a goodwill by my house in my affluent neighborhood and people would donate their expensive brands and I came up just once on some bape hoodie, but I left a bunch of bape shoes, etc bc profit wasnt on my mind back then… people still do donate nice things but there’s only a savers now and they charge 2nd street pricing and I have to fight my intrusive thoughts to not steal from them for that fuckery (lol) they had jeans with literal shit on them in the racks. That shit pissed me the fuck off like what if I touched it >_>

I see vids on ig from goodwill bins and flea markets and stuff and just cringe, ppl acting like savages dying from thirst fighting for the last droplet of water over some used ass stinky clothes, even on eBay/offerup/ any market place people are so fucking insolent with their lowball offers tryna incite violence or some shit

And fucking instagram fashion archivists thinking they’re the shit for wearing designer clearance stuff the algorithm told them was cool to wear, like I should fucking Rob you xdxdxd

God I fucking hate everything and it’s pathetic how I find solace in the fact America is on the brink of a world war

I am going back 2day! I saw one jujst like it but red so I will get another zip up for $3!!!!
>>12829985
your are welcome
I went back and they wer all gone. There are more zip ups like it but they are for $24 now. I will try to come back another time in the future for more clearance items. One annoying thing about clearance items at walmart is that if they really are a good deal then some asshole will come in and clean them out just to resell on ebay or a flea market. >>12829844

wait oh no
oh no no no
alright… I might’ve acted on a knee jerk reaction but hear me out, I just checked Walmart online prices and im really not sure how they do it but it’s apparently $25 retail for USPA hoodies through them, $12 on sale for select models… keep in mind Walmart does NOT offer free shipping so it’s an addition $10…

Sigh maybe in your area with a stroke of luck and clearance, sure, they’d offer $3 USPA zip hoodies for a day or two, considering the Freemasons give their socks out for free?

I’m a bit… drunk so don’t mind the humor

The best times to check clearance stuff is the beginning/end of month and middle of the month on Monday's supposedly. If a price is exactly half off or ends with $0.98 it's usually an intermediate clearance and may go down more. When stuff ends with $.00 or something like $0.75 it's usually the final clearance. Ends of seasons are big turnovers, winter markdowns are coming soon if you want things like beanies, gloves thermals, etc. Summer clearance starts a bit earlier like August to make room for Fall items which is the biggest shopping push of the year. For TVs the best time is starting now continuing to about June. Super Bowl Sunday used to be big and keep the prices up, after that is the new model year and cheap tvs sell big to people with tax returns so it's a win-win for retailers and customers. I wouldn't be surprised if the Switch 2 had a temporary price drop soon just to entice tax return spenders.
